Fallon - about 10 years ago I rescued an old TB who had been abandoned in a field. He was riddled with hoof abscesses and was so underweight. He was such a gentleman and was so sweet when I was continuously working on his hooves. I had him for about two years before he passed away in the pasture. He died with healthy, pain-free hooves and a big ol' belly. He was loved, happy and it was my honour to care for him. He may have fell on hard times but he left this world knowing that he was loved. I think that's the best we can do for any of our animals. Alex & Fallon - Thank you for the love, care and support you gave your boy.
Awe, LOVE the barn tours! I have to say the vlog of Alex brushing and riding Jefe remains a bright spot in the world. I had no idea he was 32! You guys absolutely gave him the best last year and he left happy and with dignity...God Bless you guys for doing that for him! It's never easy when they go and they are never with us long enough. My condolences on the loss of Hefe . I'm new here and don't know much of his story but it sounds like he was brought into a far better situation in his golden years , surrounded by other horses , loving people, food, care, open spaces and comfort. I hope he's running in green pastures now ! Thank you for the barn tour . May I ask what breed the majority of your home bred horses are ? I thought quarter horses at first , but now I'm not sure. They look under 15 hands , but boy are they fast and glorious around barrels ! Again, thanks Fallon, for your barn tour , I enjoyed it !

Rest in peace, poor guy. I can relate I volunteer at a rescue and we lost a horse called "Crimson." He was about 30 and just couldn't handle the cold. The change in the weather was to much for him.

You and your horses are the reason I’m a sucker for anything Dr Nick Bar and the sole reason my buckskin yearling colt exists who’s by a son of Dr Nick Bar. I’ve loved watching your story for the last many many many (prob 6-8+ 🤯) years! Your program is flourishing and it’s been amazing to watch. Im trying to be a pro barrel racer. My horse is new at it. i kinda started training him on barrels and he loves it cause we run around the barrels and he did awesome but i can't ride him right now because im pregnant. And thats sad to hear that, that horse was beautiful.

I have 3 horses i barrel race 2 of them april and mr sunny bunny.april Had a baby on Easter and i name the baby girl ginger but we was boarding at the time and we couldn't afford both until we moved after the fact we sold her and i really wish i still had her ginger loved me she listened to me only
One of ours was 30yrold he died in 2017 day new year morning he laid down also and when i found him he died sitting up a not laying down so i thought that he was asleep when i found him but he was dead miss him alot his name was indy
