    I knew him at Ohr Somayach Jerusalem over 30 yrs ago. He was stunning lol, very classy and yes, he really moved like royalty. He knew dozens of languages. He told me he wanted to learn Hebrew but could not learn it in Swaziland so he went to EY. He’s real legit . I think he wore a black fez back then and he was very quiet. He said he lost alot of money leaving his home and family. We spoke once or twice . So nice to see him all these years.

    Wow
    He has come a long way. Such a humble and wise yid. I remember his wedding, it was drizzling. And I thought to myself nice they are throwing down glitter from heaven. Hashem wanted to show us that he wanted to be part of the Simcha.

    Hi guys, incredible podcast. You outdid yourselves. By the way, as a side note, translate the words in Hebrew or Yiddish that you are using (or your guests) because a lot of people from different backgrounds don’t understand and detracts from the excellent job you do. All the best, keep on the amazing work, cheers and greetings from Be’er Sheva, Israel.

    Please can you put some of the Jewish words into English? Only commenting in the hope you see this! I have watched a lot of your videos but some words/phrases I don't understand.

    • @lisettegarcia
      @lisettegarcia 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      It's intended for a particular audience. So many Hebrew and Yiddish words are sprinkled in naturally that it would become very burdensome and clunky to translate them all. A better solution would be for you to watch this channel with a friend in the know.

    • @antoniajane5442
      @antoniajane5442 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      I am subscribed to a few Jewish podcasters as I am genuinely interested. I know quite a lot of the words and traditions, but I would like to understand more. Some put the words once up on the screen, or maybe the words could be written in the introduction you can read. A lot of Jewish podcasters have non-Jewish viewers and having the basic translations would possibly attract more viewers. I live in Spain and I don't know any Jewish people here.

    11 "Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them.
    12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the Lord brought about a great victory."
