- Hello friends! Welcome back to my channel, I’m excited to share with you my journey of building my DREAM HOME in Zambia, Africa.
In this video, I’m sharing with you how I installed a submersible electric pump in my borehole.
This is the BEST time to start or continue building in Africa! If you’ve been on the fence, this is your sign. The value of property in Africa is increasing and now is a great time to get into it.
I built the main structure of my house in 10 weeks and so can you! I hope my journey encourages you to action.

Oh my goodness. I’m overwhelmed by your generosity! You will for over remain the first person to bless me with my very first super thanks or is it a super chat?! I don’t even know how to thank you but THANk You and God bless you.
@@bridgetwint God bless you, sis! It is a privilege to be able to share. We thank God for his everlasting blessings.
Amen 🙏 🙌🏼
I think I will do a comparison between a solar pump and electric pump soon. For farms off grid, that really is the way forward. I also looked at the option of a solar pump for myself but it was much more than I could afford. Eventually, that’s my sustainable goal. We continue to pray for rain . Hang in there.
Yes let’s keep praying for the rain . We’ll really appreciate a video comparing electric and solar pumps . It will be so helpful. I have asked for some photos to see how the Maize is looking at the moment. But if I be honest Iam dreading to see them.
I can imagine. Especially when you’re far away. Not easy.
@@bridgetwint Not easy at all dear.
Congratulations Bridget!!🙌🙌💃💃👍Panono panono , this will really make a difference.
Panono panono for sure! Thank you for your encouragement.
Thanks for this video. This gives hope for our small school manual pump to have an electric pump. Congrats
Thank you
An interesting project, l have learnt a lot about the installation of a submersible borehole pump.
It makes all the difference. I admire your perseverance in getting things done 🙌
Yes that's how we roll in Zambia 😊.
But we get through some how with some of the challenges.
That’s indeed how we roll but we do get it done. I want to do a video comparing solar and electric water pumps. Hope to do some details on cost of drilling as well. Thanks for always leaving me an encouraging note. It makes all the difference.
Hi Bridget, Congratulations, that’s another milestone you have achieved . More grace to you dear . That’s exactly my dream . I need to install a solar pump by the grace of God. At the moment we are using a hand pump and it’s really a challenge. Now with the Drought going on ,I don’t know what will become of my Maize. It’s really disheartening after all the efforts made both financially and physically.
Oh dear. I wrote you a reply but just realized the comment didn’t attach to yours. God is gracious. Hang in there.
@@bridgetwint No worries. Thanks.
That's Nice. I have never seen how its installed before, I see sprinklers around here yes. .Last year we were flooded in, this year is drought.hmmmm You can't win.
Very different this year.
👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿 congratulations 🎊
Thank you so much!
We thank God!!!
Amen 🙏 🙌🏼 Thank you for encouraging me. I’m very very grateful.
I have never seen this process! This is interesting.
Very interesting for sure. No high tech equipment but it got done.
@bridgetwint It is done!! And, that's all that matters, I'm so happy for you 💗 💛 ❤️
Thank you 🙏
thankyou and congratulations ❤❤your heard work.
Thank you

Great job! Thanks for sharing. I've been enjoying watching your project. I'm looking into such projects myself. Will you filter that water and treat it to reduce sulfur, iron, and bacteria, etc for household use? What wattage and horsepower do your contractors recommend if planning to run this water through a filtration system? I would consider a 2-Stage or 3-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System but I'm not sure which ones are available in Zambia.
Wow, I didn’t even think about water filtration yet but I should. Right now , I'm buying water for drinking and cooking because I have not tested the borehole water content and purity. You’ve given me good homework.
All the best with your projects and let me know if I can help.
@@bridgetwint Definitely. Thank you! We are getting ready to install a solar powered submersible pump. Where did you buy yours? Do you mind sharing your model? How deep is your well again?
@@mkbdiy9766 Radian stores. Are you in Zambia? I believe it's a little over 60 meters.
@@bridgetwint Thank you! Building in Ndola
Are you happy with your water pressure with this 1 HP pump?@@bridgetwint
