- When you are designing your base in Last Day on Earth Survival, there are four things you need to keep in mind. The first is The Horde, the second is creating a good system for storing your loot, the third is protecting yourself from AI raiders, and finally, preparing yourself for LDOE multiplayer.

The horde is probably the worst thing in ldoe
Not that in a way that its a good idea, Its just fucking boring. I would think a horde danger level. If its a lower class horde, It would contain runners and roaming zombies. If its at medium Class, It would contain bloaters, Spitters, And runners. If its a High danger class, It can contain a Big one, Crawlers that run, And Toxic abominations.
Other players ARE the MOST dangerous

Thanks for all these wonderful tips. I will definitely apply them to my base right now. I've got spike traps in front of the walls that are Level 2 and 1 and that saving me from The Horde So nothing is getting destroyed which is wonderful considering. I've only been playing for a few days. I will definitely have my bass setup before I join raiding.
Well, I just have to give you a thank you for all your help back in the day teaching me all of the cool tips and tricks I wouldn’t have gotten as rich as I am today and I have really taken your teaching in this video for my base so if there ever is online raiding like Frost born I will be ready I love the nostalgia of all of your older videos, especially all the tricks even though some are outdated, there’s still awesome.

Ok I know this my be a little lengthy but here I go.
I would love if Kefir would implement a way for us to redesign our base without having to break walls and floors.
Here is my solution. First a it would cost something either coins , bottle caps, something. Then there is a 12 to 24 hr time limit. Once you accept all your walls, floors, blueprint items, and any other obtained item are placed in a cue list like Clash of Clans when you redo a base. At the same time all your items in the chests are in a side storage (as it would take a lot to put the chest and all the items in them in the cue list, then this way you can go and reorganize you chest items as well to suite your new layout). While this is going on you are immune from starving, thirst, and the horde.
Side note you can not redesign base while you are vulnerable to raider attacks. You would have to wait out the time. This would avoid people raiding and then doing this to reset there raid time count down.
I hope this makes since, and JCF you are more than welcome to pass this to the devs as they would be more inclined to listen to you verses a little peon like me.

Chests- Ability to BREAK like walls.
Everything inside goes to
inventory in Store Menu.
Walls- Option to "BREAK" or "SWITCH”.
Can only SWITCH if floors are the
same.
While SWITCHING you have the
option to change the type of
wall.
💡...or maybe for the walls AND floors,
we can pick them up and stack them. Saves room in our backpack and clears the space we want to remodel. Or at least something along the line.

Long time ldoe player, I would love 2 raiding systems, the current one and a second only available to experienced raiders with the 200 reputation where they raid other experienced players where real loot can actually be stolen and the ability to defend it
I was watching this video when I felt like something was wrong, I felt like I've heard each and every word you just said but in a different video I watched a few days ago... I was so sure that some other guy, with a worse mic was copying this video but I couldn't find the video until I remember that I commented "Solid guide" and the comment got hearted so I checked on the comment in the nodification tab just to find out that this "other" guy was just you 5 years ago! But this guide was even more solid than the last guide! Thanks!

Been playing for almost 4 months now. I'm 97% complete for my first layer lever 3 walls.
I made a 15 by 13 walls. My plan is to create a 3 layers of Stone walls and then at the center I will build a 6 by 6 room for my stuffs.

Old versions update, I had 3 also until accidentally pick up 1 to trade with trader Joe 😂

dude i got 7x7 metal base for just playing for 11 months and spending my money on that survival guide and season passes. so overall i spend like 30$, not 100$ +.
Well... I have a 3×9 steel room where I have all my storages and most important workbenches. By most important I mean one woodworking bench (for Oak and Ash in future), one workbench (for steel), Recycler, Pressing machine and the Refined furnace. The rest of them is considered "useless" and I do not even bother to spend resources to protect them, they are "free to get", as exchanging 20 planks and 10 iron ingots for a raid is OK for me. This (3×3 is better though, you do not need 27 spaces, 9 or 12 will be enough) is considered the most profitable design and everyone in my Clan agrees and follows it (the reason is you do not spend any resourses on protecting your stuff). Are we right or is it a terrible mistake?

I have similar idea but lvl 3 walls r too exp to execute for free player. Have to grind consistently for at least a mth.
My max 1 day was 60 grey brick and 2-3 melee weapon which is "cycle" for red/yellow zone again. I almost got the military backpack in season 5, lack 60 pts. Damn it.

My only problem is this game requires me to spend money or else it will take days to get some items. However this is one of the best games to spend money on since you get a big bang for your buck
Hello jfc, I loved the video you posted about Kefir doing fake tournaments on LDOE. Recently, I had the idea of using a couple of milkors in the third floor of bunker bravo to give me a little edge at the end. I did this around 4 times with no problem at all. Today, I got too much radiation HALF THE WAY, the rad started ticking my health and I couldnt go on. I tried this twice today and it happened both times. If you please would look into it would be good for us players. Thank you very much for your content!

JCF one question dies the lvl 2 and 1 walls have health like for example 9 crowd zombies die from the lvl 2 wall which is just one zombie away from breaking then the next horde comes and one zombie hits that lvl 2 wall does the lvl 2 wall survive that one zombie or does it break?

because then ea players will only break one level fences and not break 3 levels, which will cost a lot more than building one level fences. build 3 level fences behind one level fences
