In this video, I take the Leofoto Carbon Fibre LSR-324C tripod with LH-40 Ball Head for a spin during a workshop. This tripod is a blend of lightweight design and sturdy performance. While I'm not a fan of the clip lock legs, the overall build quality and functionality make it a great choice for photographers. If you’re in the market for a professional tripod, this one is worth considering!

I have this tripod But it has the twist lock system (Leofoto Ranger LS-324C Carbon Fibre Tripod + LH-40 Ballhead ) ,. still works like new after 2 years
I like twist lock i just prefer it
Paul Compton !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crackin’ good video, cheers
Glad you enjoyed it
I came across your video because I’m looking for a Leofoto tripod but I noticed the red lens cap cover you have on your lens and filters. What is that as I’m looking for something similar to cover my lens and filters when I’m moving in the field. I subscribed to your Chanel as well. Love your content!
Thanks!
These are for the K8 Kase system, i have a hybrid set up
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Thank you.
welcome
Hi Paul, is this tripod short or good for landscape photography? is it on the eye height when full unfold? do you think it is worth when comparing with the twist version of LS-324?
This was some time ago now, i cant remember of top of my head..
I like the twist grips better, but its personal to the user
Got my one mate from you
Thank you, can't wait to use it 🙂
enjoy it and dont drop it off cliff
@@paulcomptonpdphotography I'll try not to 😄
lol
I preferred the close up but both great pictures.👍
Fair enough!
Hi Paul,
A nice trypod.
The only thing that would concern me about it is the clip on the leg with the small attachment which could come off without you knowing.
Great images as usual.
I preferred the image showing more distance.
Good point! but its on well dont think it would fall off, you just need to pop it in your camera bag
Hi Paul, that was a great afternoon there, I really enjoyed it, maybe we could do another weekend in Wales in the new year and get to Dinorwig quarry too? Great images mate.
Sounds great! ill be up for that
Nice tripod mate can't wait to get my one 🙂
You should! soon
Hopefully I'll get it this week
I'll send you a picture when it will come 🙂
sure do
Hey Paul, what are those water proof trousers you are wearing in this video? How effective are they when you enter knee deep into rivers? Does it keep your socks and feet completely dry?
they dont work in water haha
Tripods with flip locks are a pain in the butt....especially when it comes to maintenance. The screws need to be tightened, tough to clean especially if sand/salt gets into the locks...and the locks themselves eventuallly wear out over time and can result in sudden catastrophic failures in the field. I am very much a twist tripod guy.....couldn't care less if it took another 5 minutes to set my tripod before a shoot.
so your not keen than haha
