    I think it's safe to say that every South African tribe feels a sense of pride with this production. The people are finally retelling their own history.
    "Until the lion learns how to write every story will glorify the hunter"

      We need to be proud about what we produce, others claims to be the biggest movie producers in the entire Africa. It's ok when they say but being it but it's being cocky when South African say it. Just asking😅

    Am Xhosa and i love Zulu Culture so much and how they embrace it. What i love most is that the Production team is showing all the history of every single kingdom/clan in the Zulu Nation leading to Shaka's reign and not just Shaka Zulu's history, while the first movies (part 1, 2, and 3) in the 80's only focused most on Shaka's part and would only show snipets of other kindgoms when there was war, and were told frm an outsiders perspective.❤❤❤

    Fun facts:
    1. The producing company spent a lot of money on this series, it is the most expensive production they have ever done. The company apparently had to delay some of their other productions to spend as much money as possible on this one.
    2. It is ranked as the most watched series in five African countries being: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Kenya.

    The authenticity is key here. Not told on a bias perspective but what was really happening back then. It's really emotional and I am glad we are told again of the beautiful history of our Zulu culture. Thank ya'll folks for the reaction🤝🏿❤.

    Ohh I can't tell you how special this is as a Zulu. The first production of Shaka was told in the perspective of the white settlers interaction with him. This time they are actually telling his history from the perspective of Zulu historians, it such a beautiful thing because alot of our culture actually being shown in it's full context❤️❤️❤️

  • @ncebamsolo7505
    @ncebamsolo7505 ปีที่แล้ว +17

    Just for the point of correction fellas. This production is about Zulu people prior Shaka's birth. It shows how Shaka came about n how life was before him. Then the old shaka zulu production we grew up watching deals specifically with shaka' reign as king n his growth as a boy to man. So it's not a remake guys,it's different timelines of life of Zulus.
