Do we really need to seal inner holes ? whole part interior volume already connecting all flap positions.

Good video mate, but attention, not suitable for CAPA engine, as the EGR body isn't the same at all. So much more complex on CAPA engine.
    Thanks!

Just wondering how this would be done on a capa

@@w1679 well, you have basically to remove Y pipe manifold, and also high pressure diesel lines. This EGR is not a cylinder you can remove upwards, it is screwed as a solid piece by 2 bolts to the watercooler unit.
After this, you can unbolt the EGR, but attention, there is a 10mm screu underneath, that cannot be accessible with any spanner, socket, or any else... In my case I managed to cut it with a Dremel (font worry, this bolt is only to support the EGR in a support that goes between both cylinder heads).
If you dont want to cut it, you must remove both ontake manifolds, turbo, etc... So it's going to became a 7 or 8h job, for sure....
The only tricky part is to remove the clip of the coolant hose that goes to the right of the oil filter housing, but it can be done (normally to do it the oil filter housing needs to be reomved also).

Are electronics to deal with this delete? I can do all of the mechanical work.

What country are you in? What price for a complete cp3 r110 kit for an audi a5 3.0 tdi capa 2008 engine.

hello good morning, and congratulations for the video, information: I also have the problem with the EGR fume radiator, by doing the bypass like in your video I solve the problem? without eliminating the fume radiator physically? I have already eliminated the EGR and FAP valve, my problem is the water seeping into the radiator and coming out of the exhaust pipes and furthermore it consumes the water in the tank,

It is nice to do all those deletes, but when is mot time or to sell the car there is the problem

Any emissions testing takes place where the egr valve and swirl flaps are redundant above ,2.5k revs, so it passes easily exhaust systems are the big thing

I did this before I found this video I used the flanges from the egr pips and cut a circular piece of stainless and welded it into the centre of the flanges, machined it flat and used to blank both the turbo and the inlet manifold.

Did the same thing. Weird engine sounds at 1.150 rpm without flaps. No flaps, no egr. Engine 'shakes'.

Hi, can you explain a bit more: where is the fitting for the port in the block routed to? I mean the hole at 5:11. I understand it is not connected to the T you made. I have the BMK engine which has a flexible hose coming out of the block so I don't think I have to hack the cooler.

Nuts and washers good idea, but extremely risky if they come lose somehow 😬
