The art direction in this mod is so fantastic holy... But it was very strange seeing the starting deck be baseball bats, shotguns and soda cans where a lot of the units are space and fantasy themed ngl. But I could see myself liking the disparity after some time it's a cool idea.

Maybe you have to use the "chimes" cards to wake up the Masked Deities ? So far we've seen a green and a purple chime, and the Deity card has a purple, a green, a blue and a 4th hidden mask. If there is a blue chime and maybe another I bet that is it. (It is just a wild guess based on what I saw in this video though)
I tried drawing a chime with the deities in play but nothing happened. Collecting all 4(?) chimes in a run seemed so impossible though

Someone else in the comments mentioned that purple, green and blue could be frost (demonize ?), shroom and overburn. Maybe these effects must be applied to wake up each mask ? It could fit with our idea since the "chimes" cards inflict these debuffs (but to everybody in the battle).
26:45 could have turned slapcrackers into a god with durian + shade slug + optional goat (not like you needed it with the smackback luvu)

The 4 Masked Deity description says something about breaking him free, maybe hit him with a baseball bat? 🤔 Sounds like you were thinking the same thing at the end there!

did you ever have the crystal rift and the masked diety on the board at the same time? maybe that would have done somthing?
I think you need to give the 4 masked diety a timer
that would just make it trigger though, and it triggering through spark did nothing
