Still waiting for the Rolux25 vs Rev26 video! I know they are both excellent mowers but a lot of us are trying to decide between the two so a head-to-head would be extremely useful. Pros, cons, things you like and don’t like, ease of use, cut quality, ergonomics, how loud they are, etc.
Sold my Rolux one month after I bought it. Hated the ergonomics of the wheelbarrow controls and the ten speed brakes as controls. Very difficult trying to get up my slope. Pushing on the ends of the handlebars and doing the throttle was a nightmare. Now have the Revo and is clearly much more thought out machine. Very please and happy that I’m supporting an American owned company vs South African company. 🇺🇸❤️
Just to correct you, it is a seven speed throttle not a ten speed! And you don’t need to push the handles because it’s self propelled 👊 Glad you found a mower you like 👊
Hey man im here from your levelling short. What amount of sand did you end up using? Ive got a front yard roughly the same size as yours thats in dire need of a good levelling
1 cubic yard of sand per 1k sqft! 1 yard = 1 scoop at a stone or mulch place. That will give you a good layer of sand. Don’t really want to go more than 1” depth with it in the lower spots. You can, it’ll just take much longer for the Bermuda to go through!
Can’t wait for the comparison between the Rev26 and the Rolux X25!!

Second this!!
It’s coming 😏
Thanks for the video. Looking at buying X25 and I wanted to get your thoughts. Would you still purchase over McLane or Cal Trimmer? Thanks

I’m looking at purchasing the 20”. Question, what’s your motor preference? I was looking at adding the larger Briggs XR950. Thanks for the help.
Did the oil container have the amount listed on it? Would love to know the exact amount they recommend for the GX160. Thanks for all the videos!
Love my rolux
Which do you like more rolux or reel rollers? I can’t decide. I have a swardman and that thing is junk. I want something reliable

@@TheLawnDad thanks for the reply! I'm a newbie so I don't know much
😊 lawn Daddy 😊
I've been using the rev26 and i love that i can disengage the reel. Can you with the rolux?
Sort of! The reel will stop on the lowest “gear” (7). It does not have a handle that shuts off separately.
😊 great video😊
Did you you swap this for your revolution?
I still have it! Just added another horse in the stable haha
Interchangeable blade?
Yeah you can change them out (not like a cartridge) if you need to replace or upgrade to a higher/lower blade count
What happened to your rev26?
I still have it. Just adding to the collection 😁
@TheLawnDad is there a comparison video coming?
@@nikolausotto4504😏 soon
@@TheLawnDad Does it lay strip better than the RR26?
You bought a Rolux?
Added another mower to the lineup!
