You don’t understand how much this just helped. I have the same issue. I just had a hair transplant to fix my edges so they are growing back so I didn’t want to damage my hair by doing a sew in. But now I see I can do it like this😁😁. Thanks girlll

Instead of creating a loop to tie knots for sew in. Try twisting the thread around the needle, then pull the needle up to create a knot. I got this technique from a TH-camr named Peakmill. That technique is BOMB for sew in wigs or hair, especially for DIY ( Do It Yourself).

New subscriber! Absolutely beautiful. You did that Sis. My hair is not the thickest, but i have lenght. I need to take the time out and teach myself how to do sew ins. Though I know it its not easy out the gate but with patience I know I can get it. I do sew-ins but just not on my own head. And it's probably because I get frustrated lol. Ummm so yeahhh, I think I’ll be using the dome cap from now on! Especially cause I like to drench my hair in grease when I do quick weaves (although this isn’t a quick weave*) but I figure it’ll keep a nice barrier cause no one likes a greasy weave. I too suffer from thin edges. Love the slay girl. !
