- Joe Brook assembled a legendary crew of skaters for a couple weeks of shredding and artistic energy in the beautiful, but wounded landscape of Detroit. Ewan Bowman put together this awesome vid to capture the adventure.

Bohl on the truck bed was Detroit as fuck (at 4:49). Kind of disappointed in the lack of Hart Plaza, but it was cool to see the three-rail spot at 5:50, which -- from what I remember -- is on Telegraph in Pontiac/Waterford.

I've never been to Detroit. But I'd love to visit there someday. Love seeing the mix of skating, art, and city. And the Ray Barbee footage was a welcome surprise. Anyway, good stuff right here.

1:22 Zered's Kickflip is soooo good. The photo in Thrasher did it more justice. He was high out of the top, tucked and tweaked.

5:51 Im 90% sure thats the motorcity powersports rail in Bloomfield, like 45 minutes from Detroit
Right after that rail theres a badass gap to hit that skates like a 10 stair. Wish there was clips of that.

Actually, I'm really surprised the city never been a skateboard playground more exploited than it is. The city is a dump with hundreds of abandoned buildings no one gives a shit, basically no cops, massive stairs or rails with no security, some amazing creative spots as well (I know I've been there many times), huuuuge empty warehouses that just ask to be skated with obstacles, you can enter virtually any abandoned buildings without someone asking you anything, I really don't understand why Detroit is not more used than this.
