Well to be honest, it *IS* society's fault. But that doesn't change the fact that society isn't going to take responsibility for it's apathy and shiftiness. Society isn't reliable and is never going to own up to anything so you should never depend on society for anything. Learn to take care of yourself and not lean on something that's never going to change and your own circle. The earlier you become independent of what society wants the better off you will be.

They generally are more concerned about air conditioning, making James Bond and the Doctor a woman, quotas in STEM jobs and board rooms, and dressing up as vaginas in DC, and calling men toxic in a Super Bowl commercial. Saying modern feminism is about equality is in a way is like invoking the No True Scotsman fallacy, it's not reflecting the reality of the situation.
