I just got my new exhaust for my Vulcan tonight, different exhaust than what you put on, but this helped a lot, I wasn't sure if I was going to do it myself or bring it somewhere. now I know it's a piece of cake
hey do u like the exhaust is it overly loud is it worth the money ? this is the only thing ive seen in a good price range. i already spent alot on the bike and gear so looking for a cheaper exhaust with good sound
Took three weeks, but it finally came in, and I put it on in about half an hour. The nut provided didn't fit the bolt, but that was an easy fix - just went to Lowe's and got one. This sounds absolutely amazing - just as good as, if not better than, the Two Brothers for a third of the price. Definitely recommend!
@@Cstock17 hey dude. Did you put on new gaskets when your swapped out your stock exhaust? Only asking because If the old ones are on the heads I was curious on how you removed them
I just bought the 2019 Vulcan s brand new. Do I still need to purchase new gaskets for this exhaust and if so what is the specific brand or name for the gaskets ? I herd these are really loud and want to get it installed asap because drivers out here are oblivious to bikers.
I like the sound but I like the TBR more. That's only because the pipes are closer to the bike. The whole pipe looks like it belongs on a different bike.
Hello, unfortunately we can't shoot more videos of this bike/exhaust combo. That's a customers bike and he already picked it up again. Best regards Danmoto
Hi, is it possible to install db killer for this exhaust ? because in France the tolerance is 89DB. and how to install the db killer. thank you for your reply
Thanks for the video. But, you guys should ship new gaskets with the kit. Who in sanity will wait for new gaskets from some place else in order to install a new exhaust? Ain't nobody got time for that, m8! lol
Is it true that changing it to aftermarket voids the warranty of the motorcycle? Also is true in can damage the engine even by using a power commander auto tuner?
Dam, just installed this pipe, leaks at the heads badly, re-watched your instructions, and missed the part about new gaskets. Dam, remove tomorrow, How tight do you do the 4 nuts up at the head? i seem to be slightly bending the plate on the pipes, as I wasn't aware of the gaskets, i didn't see any when i removed the old exhaust? are they inside the head pipe bits. Hope I didn't stuff the plates. any thoughts?
You recommending to use fuel mapping on your webside... how can I do it ? is there some recommended settings or some plug device ? What it (remapping) may influence or improve ? Fuel consumption ? or power ? What is amount noise in dB ? Thank you for your answers
I would suggest getting a Power Commander (check jpcycles or go to power commanders site to find the specific Vulcan S model). Then take the bike to your local Harley dealer (yes, Harley) because they have Dyno machines (treadmills for bikes) and they can tune your power commander to match your bikes needs. You can also go to Dynos website to find local shops other than Harley that can do it if you don't have one near you. Hope this helps!
Saw the Danmoto Highwayman exhaust replacement of the Kawasaki Vulcan S. Questions: Whats the dB level compared to stock (82 dB)?. Whats the ground clearance after refit (stock 13 cm)?. Looks swanky. Whats the cost and source to access from Mumbai India?
do you still have the stock exhaust? I modified my stock exhaust and I don't like it so need your stock exhaust if you still have it. I willing to pay shipping please let me know. thanks
the oxygen sensor measures the amount of oxygen coming through the exhaust pipe at any given time, it tells the bikes computer whether in needs to add fuel, making it richer, or reducing fuel, making it leaner.
I bought this exhaust system recently. It's really nice and it's of good quality but the sound is unbearable. I use two DB Killers and it still sounds a lot ... I sincerely believe that Danmoto should sell this exhaust system with a specific DB Killer.
I agree. It's way too loud and gets annoying even with earplugs. I'm still working on quieting it down but haven't hit upon the right combination of baffles just yet.
They should sell it with db killer, I've put it and you can not walk down the street because of the noise it makes. I have had other bikes with sports tubes but this is getting noisy on all sides.
This is THE BEST video tutorial on changing the exhaust I've seen! Excellent video capture and concise verbal instructions!
Excellent demonstration and instruction. I appreciate you making this video. Very helpful.

Love the sound, i guess my first step is to get this bike. I just got green light from my wife!
zero boyd Good luck man. The Vulcan S is one of the greatest road/street/sport cruiser bikes ever made. I can't wait to buy one.
You need a permission... how old are You?
@@yazky69 Most married men are castrated in the West, what a shame! No wife=happy life
@zero boyd
Happy wife = Happy life.
How did you get your wife to agree to this? hahaha
DO IT!... did you buy it? how do you like it? I am looking at this bike as a second bike for solo riding
Thank you very much for this extremely detailed explanation on how to install this exhaust, cannot wait to get mine.
Just found them at a very reasonable price with JP Cycles. I am going to order a set. thanks for the install video!
Just bought this in black. Can't wait to see how it sounds. Thank you for the detailed video!
Chris Stock have you installed it? How does it sound and look? I'm really thinking about getting this as well in black. Can't beat the price.
Still waiting for it to come in man. It's been about 2 weeks, but I hope to have it within another week or two.

Chris Stock you should post a vid of your install. Would love to hear it.

That sounds badass, cant wait to get this bike
I have ordered this also in black and will be following your instructions to fit it on :)
thats a nice sounding pipe man!... I am looking at this bike as a second bike and am excited...
Definitely money and time well spent sounds awesome.
Excellent instructions. Thank you.
Do the bolts need to be torqued to a certain poundage, when installing the exhaust on the headers?

Great Instruction Video! Done with great German efficiency.
I like the sound but I like the TBR more. That's only because the pipes are closer to the bike. The whole pipe looks like it belongs on a different bike.
Why didnt you use some joint compound at the header joint which will be exposed to water ingress from the road ?
Amazing explanation
Nice looking exhaust with a great sound but why isn't it designed so the O2 sensor can be left in the factory location?
correction, not an exhaust leak, was the black paint burning of the pips for 5 min, i feel really dumb right now
Thanks for a very well detailed video. Can you help with details to get this exhaust in India?
Does it effect the performance or mileage of bike???
no ECU needed for the new pipe?
What size nut goes on the back side of the pipe
How about 3/8 square drive socket for flange would give a bit more room with slightly longer extension ?
Is the baffle removable to you can wrap it in order to quiet that beast down a bit?
Would really love to see more video of how this exhaust sounds as I'm considering buying it but would love more sound clips before I make my purchase.
Hello,
please watch the video to the End, there you can see/hear the exhaust on the bike.
With best regards
Danmoto
oh believe me i watched it many times, just want to hear more of it, perhaps on the road.

alright, thanks for the reply
I need this exhaust, but i can't find it available anywhere.
Damn... I have goosebumps!!
Any videos of you riding with this exhaust?

thank you for your reply
Is it available in the US? Not seeing the Vulcan S category under exhausts
I think if the pipe size stepped up bigger would give it a very deep sound
Hi,
What is the inner diameter to use a db killer?
Thanks for the video. But, you guys should ship new gaskets with the kit. Who in sanity will wait for new gaskets from some place else in order to install a new exhaust? Ain't nobody got time for that, m8! lol
This guy is good 👍🏽
Is it true that changing it to aftermarket voids the warranty of the motorcycle? Also is true in can damage the engine even by using a power commander auto tuner?
Is the nut and springs provided just on the international side? I bought a kit recently in the USA and didn't come with any hardware
Interesting I just got mine this week and it had all the hardware. Except the nut that comes with it doesn't fit the long bolt.
Do the header bolts need to be torqued (measured) or just tight?
Dam, just installed this pipe, leaks at the heads badly, re-watched your instructions, and missed the part about new gaskets.

That sounds sexy as fuck definitely putting it on my bike

Shashi Menon I believe it's 100db's at idle and 115 db's at revs
Do we need power commander with this??
no but booster plug is better if ure not having it manually fine tuned at the shop
How can I find this exhaust?
All places are out of stock.
Hurry up and check J & P cycles
I'm late but ebay has them for $250 now plus $15 shipping in 🇺🇸

Did you see the blue flame??
Where can you buy this? Is it available in the US?
What is the purpose of the sensor in the exhaust?
the oxygen sensor measures the amount of oxygen coming through the exhaust pipe at any given time, it tells the bikes computer whether in needs to add fuel, making it richer, or reducing fuel, making it leaner.
Any one that would ship these within the US for faster delivery time?
Are the TüV approved?
this sound !
Just looked on the US site and it's not available here in the US
Love if i can see that exhaust on honda rebel 500 😍
I've been reading that his doesn't come with hardware.. will I need to purchase new hardware or will the stock hardware work?
Hello,
it comes with all the required hardware.
No other parts needed for installation.

Not the best looking pipe.
Looks ugly.. doesnt even match the bike
