There’s actually lots of vegan skincare products in Korea now, example: beauty of Joseon has some vegan products, all of skin 1004 products are vegan. Vegan means cruelty free for anyone who doesn’t know.
I was talking about skincare with my work friend and I didn't realise it but like 70% of my routine is Korean products. I love products from the west but the moisturisers and spfs you can get in Korean brands, for the price...the best

You should think the other way. Scented products is the norm in KR. Unless they stated it's unscented, almost every products in KR is scented, at minimum they use essential oil

The SKIN1004 is my HG sunscreen. I have oily/combo, acne-prone skin and it's literally THE perfect sunscreen! IT DOESN'T CAUSE ME TO BREAK OUT (!!!!!), doesn't leave my skin shiny or make it look oily after a full day at work (with no makeup or powder), and no white cast. Unlike other sunscreens that claim to be lightweight and feel like a moisturizer, this one really DOES feel like a high-end, lightweight moisturizer. This will be MY sunscreen until they reformulate or stop making it.
It's such an amazing one!

I have the goodal vitamin C, there’s no actual vitamin C listed in the ingredients. The brightening comes from the Niacinamide and Arbutin
I tried the Anua cleansing oil and it did not remove my blackheads but made my skin very clear and removes makeup effortlessly. 😊

I bought the sunscreen she mentioned off of YesStyle on Black Friday of last year. It was like $7-$8? It's a very nice sunscreen; I really enjoy it. I bought a bunch of different sunscreens to try out, and I was very impressed with this one. Asian sunscreens are no joke; they feel very nice on the skin and don't leave a greasy finish, which is a win-win for people with oily to combination skin types.
Always always test them in small portion on your neck or chin. The cosrx snail mucin gave me itchiness and my entire face was as red as ripe tomatoes. My skim isn't normally sensitive so i was shocked by thay reaction.
Sounds like you’re allergic to certain kinds of seafood. So am I! Snails, lobster (I had to take a full blown allergy test on my arm). Doing those patch tests are a must!

that skin 1001 sunscreen is not goof if you have an oily skin and lives in a humid area. it works for those with dry skin
I will have to disagree with that. I have oily acne prone skin and live in a humid country. Skin1004's hyalu-cica sunscreen just feels like a light moisturiser when you apply it. You won't even notice that you have it on.
@@mintismymeme I live in the Philippines and skin1004 hyalu-cica feels greasy to me. It maybe ok for women but not for men who doesn't want a dewy nor greasy looks.
Nah I live in a humid country with combination to oily acne prone skin, honestly it gives a slight glow and makes my acne hyperpigmentation blurry plus doesn't feel heavy

My mom has many of those from when we went to Korea
I find western and Japanese products to be more effective due to their higher concentration. Korean products tend to be cheaper and feels diluted in consistency, so you might only see some slight effect or none after prolonged usage.

Havent tried it.
But i use the gold tube version of MELANO CC its japanese and HOLY GRAIL amazing. So give that a go idk if the green tangerine is decent rbh just based on the packaging i can tell you right now thats not ideal for preserving vit c. The melano tube doesnt allow air into the tube and its aluminum tube sorta like a toothpaste so protects the product that way as well.
@@PhoenixFlowerEmmait depends on what type of Vit C they’re using in the formulation. If it’s an oil soluble vit c, then it’s going to be like any other serum in terms of how long it will stay good/effective for. (Plus these types are far less irritating on the skin than L ascorbic acid.) But if it’s regular L ascorbic acid then it goes bad much quicker and needs to be in the correct packaging like dark bottles and or airtight containers. If it’s encapsulated then it will have a longer shelf life and be more stable, thus you run the risk of irritation less, but still not as much as if you were to use an oil soluble Vit C solution.

I always want to use vitamin C to get rid of my black acne scars. but every time I use it, I feel like my skin is irritated. the skin around the lips becomes hot and many small pimples appear. To be fair, the anua toner is so so, it’s not hydrating enough for combination dry skin. And I hate goodal tangerine serum, sticky and ineffective. Guys, just save money for a vitamin C serum with better formula.
