    If you coat your fruit in a little flour before dropping them in the mix, the flour helps to stop the fruit from sinking to the bottom of the pudding and it remains well distributed...loving this channel Terri-Ann!

    Looks real good can't wait to try. Thank you so muCh for sharing. Can granny make the custard top too. Jamaicans call it heaven a top heaven a bottom and he'll in the middle. Or Sofi sofi pawn top - nevermind just saw the notes. I was too excited, lol!

    • @teenafrancis2943
      @teenafrancis2943 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jamaica's don't make the custard top differently than the pudding its achieved with the initial baking

    • @calairbrown9461
      @calairbrown9461 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm Jamaican and adding the coconut milk mixture for custard is done similarly, we put in on earlier before it bake so long. If you don't do it that way, it won't have the custard on top. Hella top Hella bottom hallelujah in the middle. Is how the saying came up.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

    • @NUBIANQUEENSTAR
      @NUBIANQUEENSTAR 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seems some of you getting a little confused over the Jamaican saying….
      The sweet potato pudding was originally baked on a outside coal fire and zinc was placed on top of the pudding with hot coals put on the zinc to help cook the top of the pudding hence the saying hell ah top, hell ah bottom and hallelujah in the middle.
