In this part I tackle all optional bosses after beating the game (cause otherwise I'd need to make 3 trips through the final dungeon and aint nobody got time for that. I wanted to mention that I have used save stated throughout the playthrough and especially during these super bosses I had to retry allot of turns to connect some status moves as my characters were somewhat underleveled for some of these fights, especially Angolmois, he really loved to use 7th moon which basically none of my characters could survive aside from Ashley and that was with just few HP points left. So if it sometimes looks like I had incredible luck I want to demystify it if I was doing these fights on hardware I'd probably have to grind my characters till about 70 to stat a chance against the last 2 bosses in particular (these assholes don't even give money or EXP).
Yes the 2d characters, 3d environments style used in Grandia, Xenogears and Wild Arms 2 and Persona 2 aged really well. Aesthetically speaking it makes a lot more sense than the opposite which was more popular. Cause I mean think about it, you only need like 6 polygons to make a passable chair model, but a convincing character model requires lots more than that.
To this day, developers still make the absolutely stupid decision to implement new technologies on incompatible hardware, which is why most games age so badly... this can currently be seen particularly well in the unreal engine 5 games on the consoles , where nanite and lumens ensure very poor image quality because the hardware is completely overwhelmed, the result is 720p upscale to 4k and 25-30 fps + artifacts@@nikodem123asdf

probably the best looking PS1 game i`ve ever seen so far, clean, crispy, style.

This is a really good game. Better than Wild Arms 3?
❤❤
At this point I had ALL at lv 99 BUT 7th moon is barely survivable by Lilka at lv 99 and Ragu Ragula even at lv can still easily kill you.
