Karen neeskens I’ve visited Lithuania. And the gas station sandwiches are wayy better than here in the States.
Because most of us, here in the US at least, rather talk about politics and fight with one another than get shit done.
But, this isn't a fair comparison. Japanese people are wayyy ahead of a lot of people, not just those of us in North America.

I am literally drooling...oh I miss Japan so much! I am definitely going to try the Mario kart experience next time I visit Japan.
I miss Japanese Family Mart so bad. I basically ate their food for 2 years almost every day, lol. Love their mentai mayo onigiri and natto roll. And yes, that egg sandwich is really that good.
In our hotel when we went to Japan we saw the Mario carts racing and when they got out of the carts they proceeded to go up the same stairs as us and it was so cool

you guys should also look into Taiwan's convenience store culture. it's kinda amazing. Taiwan takes it to a whole new level. you can pickup your online shopping orders, send clothes for laundry, take id photos, print out photos, print (usb or from cloud) and copy documents, mail stuff, pay your bills, atm services, borrow and return library books.
you can also buy prepaid cellphone sim cards, train tickets, concert tickets...and probably more.
when i went to japan, i legit preferred convenience store food over restaurant food lol

I went to Okinawa. Family Mart has fresh available food. Generally Japan sells fresh foods which is drastically different than what you can find in America. 7/11 has nothing but junk food. I love the freshness! 😍
