i really felt for you when you were explaining like there was a “standard” of editing you need to achieve because its being compared to mine. im here to let you know that this is NOT THE CASE!! you do not need to edit like me/in my style to be a GOOD EDITOR! there are hundreds of different editing styles that are so cool and fun to watch, and honestly if everything was in my style we’d all get bored!😅

honestly i would say her graphs and some transitions are different than lauren but not every editor is going to be another lauren and people have to accept that

Girl, I have edited for 2 years (almost) straight, and well, all I can do, is do masking, (2 kinds) news paper kind of throw, split, 3d stuff (COME ON, THANK CAPCUT FOR THEM!) and like, make stuff disappear, move, and do coloring, and you can do probably all of them without editing in a year- 😭
