Very nice review! I wonder what's the use of GPS antenna if maps are only available through Android Auto. And the mobile phone already has a GPS. Is it for the time only? Also is it possible to load other apps from APKs to this device?

Can I set the ADAS system to inform me only about approaching a vehicle, and I can turn off lane departure?
No not in this model/brand.
Cool unit. However, the installation and instruction manual font is quite small for my elderly eyes. Is there a direct source to download ant print a larger duplicate of the manual that comes with the unit?

During phone calls... Sound plays through only dashcam speakers even while it is connected either through fm transmitter or aux. Why so ?
Not really sure. mine plays through car speakers too. Maybe try switching off the speakers from the device.

Unfortunately I don't think so. It's charging only.
Do you need the GPS module for the maps to work if you are connected to an iPhone? I figured it would use the phone's GPS
GPS not necessary for the maps to work. GPS module more for location and speed for video stamps.
Hey bro, nice review. I was looking at exactly the same unit. Now, is the system pretty snappy and responsive? Do you recommend it? Also, the ADAs is it pretty good?
Yes. Very responsive. ADAS works great, however I do turn off lane departure and front car detection. It does get annoying.

@@AutoSensationhi, I got this unit but unable to figure out how to get the ADAS system going. I projects the lanes and measures the distance but doesn't alert me on anything or a collision warning/lame departure?
@@Mark1Mach2Try Calibrating your ADAS. Main menu>dashcam>hold down the ADAS button on the right of the screen for 3 secs>make sure your on level street and align the horizontal line to the top of the street and the vertical line to the center of the street.
what about the use of usb flash drive A port,can i access music r videos from pendrive through this port
No. Just for charging
may I ask, can I buy a generic front view camera and plug into the aux ? just plug and play?
or can I use the rear camera provided as a front view camera?
You can use the rear camera and just place it in the front.

So if you have an accident, pull the SD card out to save the cam from recording over the needed footage? I don’t see an option to save a specific clip from being recorded over
After an accident you can hit the lock to keep the video from being recorded over
My android auto is not connecting and wifi is not turning on
Try resetting your unit and forgetting the wifi and reconnecting

Does it have a built-in microphone? Can you comment on the call quality (if the other person you're talking to can hear you clearly)?
So far no one complains when on a call. I think it does have a microphone built in. I just don't know if it uses it or it uses my phone.
If you connect an iPhone to it via a Lighting to USB-A cable what happens? Does it charge the phone? Does it use CarPlay wired so you don't need your Bluetooth on? or is that just for Android?
Also, I’m amusing it does but u better ask hehe. Do both the front and rear cameras start recording automatically when the device is turned on?

Yes. You can play audio without using the internal speaker

Hi there, anyone knows how to keep settings memory (like time and date)? Everytime i turn off the key i lose time and date.
Not sure. Maybe leave it on for a little bit to charge the internal battery for memory.
Any advice for connecting Android auto. I have tried everything in thw instructions and no luck.
try connecting bluetooth first. Then make sure you approve pairing on your phone.
