Long Island Is The Second Most Expensive Place To Live In The United States. When it comes to living on Long island we all know it isn't the cheapest place to live. ... It cost a family of four $103,000 a year just to get by.
If you are planning on moving to Long Island NY, this video is for you. I move from Queens NY to Long Island NY 18 years ago and I don't regret it. I grew my family here and quality of life is very acceptable. However, It is expensive, but still affordable.

Thanks for the Vid, I am from LI, moved to AZ in 2009 due to AZ being so cheap. Now its a different world, thanks to everyone moving here and especially the Californian's. Home prices are through the roof. We are thinking about moving back to the Island. We are so over the heat. I miss the beaches and the seasons. Once I get my Certification in R.E. Appraisals, we are thinking next summer? thoughts? Now i just have my trainee Lic. but i make great money.

I love long Island and I have lived in 3 different states but LI is by far the best place ever. Best food and so much to do and beautiful beaches. Just love LI overall.

Where did you guys move to? I’m a queens native, I would love to move to Long Island but my husband’s co workers are warning us about the insane cost of living. We’re thinking of Florida at this point 😕
Practically all my life was born raised on Long Island New York yes it is costly or not it depends how one does things where or how one lives I have seen here or other places both good or bad I was near scrap metal places shopping not open areas this all has a way of what one does for jobs or ways to earn money make or have amigos do activities enjoy life doctor visits transit travel own a car or more we are not always born or growing up in the best health or abilities to do things some jobs you give yourself depending on other businesses in the area like community newspapers I did freelance photos for or scrap metal at nearby dealers we all cannot be professionals drs lawyers indian chiefs or president of companies enough said in my past comments but remember nowhere is always perfect weatherwise shopping transit hospitals fire ems unless some volks help out even if it means organizing groups such as naborhood watch I did on my own as I did my business in the areas I worked or auto club I love helped out sometimes if you donot do your share part it does not work well or at all thank you have a nice day

I have lived on lawn guy island since born here just over 75years I love many things here some are no more things to doubt I will not leave my senorita or go where as seen on this I pad all over USA areas are nice bad or whatever I have learned many ways to spend less but some can not always work depends on daily living day by day what is or goes on or what your neigherhood is like leave amigos go where family relatives well no good what could I say more on this
