The MuVit foot is a great choice when sewing these tiling scenes together. It keeps the layers from shifting. Also, I change to one size larger needle when stitching the blocks together to give my needle a fighting chance.
Hi Julie 🙋🏾♀️ I just watched your table runner video and continued to scan through for more, and I saw this video and was so excited! Just yesterday I pulled out this software to study the instructions. And didn't see where they are. It was so frustrating going through everything I could. I went on line for help and the chat was useless. Is it on the CD or do I have to get that elsewhere 🤔 Thank you for this video. I know I'll need all the info that you provided.
Hey Pat, it was definitely a learning process. In retrospect, I would definitely remove the stabilizer around the seam before stitching the blocks together. They are intense to press open.
What chalk marker are you using? I've heard of some sewers using a chalk marker, then changing the chalk inside to a different manufacturer's chalk that is better.
Can this be done as a whole cloth quilt? I am wanting to do the Night Before Christmas in the black and white version as a single piece of fabric. I figure I can line it up with the machine scanner. My other question is... how would I attach a back? There is not real space to quilt it after completed. Any ideas? TIA
Hey Clem, after I finished mine and assembled, I wondered the same thing. It would take some manipulating in your software program because none of the design tiles is exactly the same size...the overstitching that i showed outside of the marked line would all be excess stitching. So, if you have a program that would allow you to delete everything outside the line then I believe it might be possible.
I uše a bright lime green in bobbin for the square framing! Easy to see and trim seams accurately.

I use a colored thread like red in the bobbin in the last stitching, you can measure to trim and stitch together
What did you use for the black fabric ?
On some you are sewing with stabilizer still in the 1/2 inch seam and then on some you are shown sewing and it is removed?

Thank you. I will try at least 2 blocks to see if I can do this. Know there is over Stitchin really helps. I have PE design 11. I will try!
I was doing 1/4 inch seam allowance.
