It goes without saying, thank you so much for these. Having recently got back into 40K and looking to start a space marine army, these have been so valuable in exploring the potential units to go for. I love all the vehicles throughout the 40k universe, and knowing which are best to take to the table is all the more beneficial!
You may not think of it initially, but as a White Scars player, they synergise with the army quite well, because we've got that fast paced moving castle of bikes and HQs, and since the Battle tank has an Assault weapon that would usually be Heavy, and a 14" move, I'm looking forward to it following my bikes and Landspeeders and just putting out some pain
Sweet I've been waiting for this one. I have one but I broke one of the sponsons and I can't find a replacement. The Omega sounds like it would be the coolest damn thing to ever hit the battlefield in the books. Would anything dark angels improve the plasma side of the Omega?
I'm looking at adding one of these to my Army. I look on battlescribe and it only has them under heavy support and not with the "relic" key word. Am I missing something? Also the stats on the ones on battlescribe aren't the same as this one. Please someone help. . .
Excellent video...think this might be crying out for some mathhammer? Also do imperial fists get extra damage to vehicles with all weapons? I thought it was just bolter or infantry...I am probably wrong.
Question. Considering the rule that it ignores hit modifiers from units with the Fly key word, would it then ignore the stealth modifiers from units such as Stealth Suits and Ghostkeels because of Fly? The rule doesn't state which hit modifier is being ignored (i.e. Hard to Hit special rule), only that it has the fly key word. Another example being Raven Guards -1 to hit when in cover. Would it ignore that rule if they were flying infantry? Also not being a Heavy weapon, there is no -1 to hit for moving.
I love the design but have had nothing but bad luck with it. Averaging about 2 hits a turn with (rerolls) on the autocannons. For whatever reason my dice always betray me with this thing lol
heh, I have two of these, auto cannon and venator, but I'd gotten them for my Thousand Sons, so they are the evil variant, provides some nice support there what is a very infantry army (for me, I run rubrics, don't like the tzangors). I feel better about running these with the sons more than I think i would in other armies, as they do more damage to psykers if they blow, which always gets a laugh. also never really run both, to many points when you factor in a greater chaos spawn and my deathclaw drop Pod for my flamer Sons
Does the Twin accelerator autocannon ignores the penalty from Eldar Aloitoc's Flyer as well? ''no penalty to hit roll vs FLY keywords''........so that a fixed 3+ to hit vs Aloitoc Hemlock for example....??
there is a noise in the background and it's kind of killing me, not sure what the sound is but it's very much constant lol. Almost sounds like a push to talk.. every time to take an audible break in speaking.

I feel like the White Scars can get the most use out of the 24 inch range guns. Moving and suffering no penalties is quite handy.
