I love Friga’s positivity and how he tries to communicate with people. Realistically, he played horrible in his limited minutes this game against better competition than the last game.
Positives: he gives consistent effort, attacked the rim on a good drive even though he missed the shot, and at least tries to play defense and get back in transition (which is more than some of his teammates can say).
Negatives: struggled staying in front of his man 1on1, was lost on multiple inbound passes, screaming “I’m in help” but when his teammate got blown by - was late to react and didn’t force a pass/change the shot at all, screaming “one more” every time his teammates drove the lane even when he wasn’t open for a drive and kick resulting in at least one turnover, getting bodied in the paint when trying to rebound.
His team admittedly isn’t organized/prepared enough to run plays to get him open shots which is the main strength of his game…but overall this was a bad game for him and his team as a whole.
Not playing at all in the second half is wild though…especially after all the “I didn’t bring you here to just to use you for your social media presence” talk from Dev.
Great breakdown but that layup is mandatory to make. This level of competition each mistake matters and bunnies can’t be smoked

I was surprised you guys did a lot better than I expected. Next year, if Dev runs it back, hopefully, the team can practice more together to build more chemistry before the tournament, and I think you guys could make a run for the championship. I was there working for ESPN and was able to see you guys play. I loved the composure you all had in game 1. I don't know much about all of the ItL players, but felt the players from Bleed Green may have had more big game experience. That said, you guys played them the best. Thought you guys had a real shot. A few more made free-throws and tap-ins could have made a huge difference. I too wish you had more playing time. Hold that head up!
