I've been searching for it for about 2 years and I finally found it. I think I've only heard it in nightcore, but the original cover (this one) actually makes me smile at how good they are.
I don't see why a lot of people think "they ruined the song", personally I really like this version aswell - of course nothing can beat the original but in my opinion this is a great re-imagination of the song, the chorus was freakin' amazing.
I say that this iteration is even greater than the original, but that may be because I'm a choir kid and don't appreciate Imagine Dragons' tone quality. They're good, but not fantastic.
I think Max owned this one :D It looks almost painful for him, we can feel his torment, his expressions fit the lyrics and the song perfectly. Just because of how much I adore Imagine Dragons, I have to admit I prefer the original. But this gave me chills. It was a little slow and iffy for my at first, but once it hit the chorus, I was just feeling. Just feeling. And I am so glad you got Max for this, because I thought a bit ago that any cover of Demons would sound great with Max. Glad you read my mind. Max has a husky voice & with Sam it's like that his voice is a little sharp so he is easily able to pull off higher notes. But both the voices are great.

Haha, yeah. Max has a much more huskier voice, as if he is out of oxygen and is trying to grasp for the sparse air. I guess that's an attractive feature of older men. (And his beard of course :P).
