Massey Ferguson 1200 Ploughing 2013

First time i've seen one of these in action, bit of rough ploughing i know
Yes the plough might not of been set up right, but it was such a nice thing to see this old beast working hard away

feel old now....that was the first tractor i used back in 1982....but i must say i like my Quadtrac more now but good times in a 1200

He's not, the plough's not turning the soil properly and it's falling back in the furrow.

the plough I think is a bit worn plus the top link was too short causing the front furrow to dig too deep the 1200 gives out a nice roar though lovely to see

It's hydraulic auto-reset - just needs the system pressurising a bit more, simple to do!

no spring loaded ...........springs need tightening up a bit .......boards not shined also making it harder to pull ........

For a late 1200 she is in a rite sad mess"! Has the foot throttle broken,? why is she set at that RPM,? Exhaust on its last legs" plus many other things that one can see just from looking at this clip, She needs to be taken out of action before you plough in the steps and restore her, Very sad how some folks just do not know how to look after that was once a very expensive piece of farming machinery,.

Great Video Mate but the ploughing is dreadful. Nothing wrong with the equipment, it just needs setting properly. Then it will do a better job and be easier to pull.
