- Labor Senator Fatima Payman calling for sanctions on Israel is an “unintended” consequence of immigration “coming home to roost", says Sky News contributor Kosha Gada.
Ms Payman directly addressed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in a speech criticising Israel over the war in Gaza, requesting sanction be imposed.
“It comes downstream from immigration,” Ms Gada told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
“These are the longer-term consequences whether intended or unintended coming home to roost."
Labor Senator Fatima Payman must be withdrawn immediately.
