Don't know where the conductor came up with this interpretation, but it is not clean or crisp and large sections do not sound anything like the Lord of the Dance.
Look for the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra version.

Wir spielen das bei uns mit 2 Schlagzeugern. Da wird nur das nötigste gespielt. Da wird auch keine Mallets haben wir's der Anfang mit einem Triangelschläger in Mitte des großen Becken geschlagen. Der eine Schlagzeuger ist erst 10 und der andere sein Vater. Und Pauken haben wird auch nicht. Das Oboen Solo eird von einer Klarinette gespielt.
Qu’est-ce que c’est que ça ? Sans vouloir être méchant il y a une bonne partie qui ressemble pas à Lord Of The Dance (et je sais de quoi je parle je l’ai joué un nombre incalculable de fois avec 3 symphos différents)
