thank you for sharing... a quite a high resonate metallic sound from the walnut.. impressive ..you could perhaps continue to explore other exotic woods on your frame using wenge for example or padauk.. or perhaps build a deep box as a traditional 60s xylophone like the one i own ..a vintage rosewood xylophone the sound is amazing

The fact that it's made out of wood and I build other stuff out of wood makes me also think that I could make this precision instrument
