Hello, I own a old "SOLID" 5.5" maple snare I purchased late 80's early 90's. I still play it and it sounds amazing! Would you be able to value it to current market. Condition is almost new.I may want to sell in the near future. Thank you
Earlier in 2022 Craviotto started offering multi ply drums. I guess the financial reality is that they had to offer less expensive drums which means ply.
Diamond Drums by Craviotto were discontinued in 2021. Sam Bacco brought a wealth of knowledge in the ply shell arena having co-led Gibson-era Slingerland in the 90s. The Diamond Drums by Craviotto were great drums and featured many of Sam's innovations. However, Craviotto's core business is, and always will be, handcrafting solid shells Johnny's way and we chose to focus on that.
All shells are solid. You are one ply while others are multi ply. Banging on a piece of wood will not tell you anything put the kit together play it. They make awesome drums.
interesting video...but i wonder...are they a solid shell?? lol...sry it wasnt stated enough times...lol. of course i had to.. no really ... they are amazing looking...id love to own one of em...but with todays inflated prices i likely cannot afford one! nonetheless keep up the great work!!
