“A Prequel to CP2816HD” - Our 1st Chase of CP2816 back in 2005” and reflects the ever-changing Alberta landscape.
Now filming in 4K with a mirrorless camera it seems a long time ago back in 2005 that Greg and I chased CP2816 for the first time using a Canon GL1 DV Camcorder (720x480 pixels) with a 20X Optical fluorite zoom lens (High tech for its day). We chased CP2816 from Okotoks to Pincher Creek Trestle with Southern Alberta’s relentless winds. It was a “Learning Experience” that added “HD” to “CP2816” and a greater understanding of how important both resolution and audio are, keeping your camera level while panning and your lens clean etc. etc. etc.
The Original video (720x480) was upscaled 2X (1440x960) using Topaz Video AI v3.1
