My favorite tip (regardless if I’m traveling with luxury or not) is paying extra for priority boarding if you don’t have status with a certain airline. If the flight is full, chances are gate agents will be asking (then forcing) people to check their baggage. I’m 1000000% anti-checked bag for a multitude of reasons so I will do any and everything within my power to prevent that.
My tip for traveling and having space to shop and bring back…. Is to bring a foldable carry on sized tote bag in my suitcase. I use the Tumi Just In Case tote, which is lightweight and folds down to the size of a book. On the way to my destination I use two smaller carryon totes or backpack…. On the way back I break out the large Tote and fill it with my purchases. That MZ Wallace large metro tote you showed also folds down and can fit in the large sized zip pouch that it comes with. Could use it as a pillow stored like that on the way to your destination, and fill it up on your way home.
😯 I had no idea the MZ Wallace fits in the large pouch! But also, I love using it as my carry on, even if it is pretty roomy on my way to a destination, because I can fill it with more goodies if I need more space 😉
I’ve also found that flashier luggages tend to attract unwanted attention (go figure) and “searches” by the TSA. I used to check my Rimowa suitcases when flying and there have been instances when my non branded suitcases arrive safely whereas a Rimowa will get “lost” or delayed in arriving, only to arrive a week later with everything inside rummaged through. Last year when I flew to France, my suitcase arrived with the brand new Chanel box inside ripped open, with the camellia & ribbons torn off. Thankfully my new bag wasn’t inside the box but with me in my carryon…. Such despicable actions 🙄 So now I use Monos suitcases instead bc they’re way more covert
💯 That's also why I don't have high-end branded check in suitcases - unfortunately I've heard too many horror stories! My only 'nice' suitcase is my carry on (plus I don't always check a bag, so the carryon gets the most usage anyway). I'm sorry to hear of your unwanted rummaging and ripping open the box 😱 that is just horrible!
@@0mfgeeze tbh TSA is rampant with them.. I've had many friends encounter similar situations, some of them had multiple valuable items straight up stolen
To store my heart bag, I just alternate between laying it on the front and the back sides in the dust bag with the chain secured in the samorga chain holder. I laid a folded baby blanket on the shelf so as to cushion the surface that it’s laying on so it will not flatten the quilts. I hope that helps!
I love mz wallace because its understated and unless you pay attention to bag brands, nobody knows you're carrying luxury since its not as "loud" as a Lois or Prada.

Depends on the destination and the size of the safe - smaller, more precious bags may go in the safe, but typically I leave them in my suitcase which lays flat and open on the luggage rack. I typically don't get my room serviced every day, so I feel comfortable doing that! If I am getting the room serviced or I feel uncertain for any reason, I will zip and lock my suitcase 😉
A friend had her checked Lou luggage rip off by the airport employees after her Paris shopping trip. I hope that their fat children wore her size 0 designer clothes well
