Carve a walnut comfort cross.

Create this beautiful wooden comfort cross. It is also known as s a Fetter. Used commonly in the hymn “come thou fount”. “Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wondering heart to thee”
These are commonly made from Olive Wood, but also can be made from a nice hardwood. They are 1” wide by 2” taller and curved to comfortably fit in your hand. Give this a try. It’s simple and fun. Go out and carve.

Really enjoyed your video, I have a full tilt woodshop and can make everything from a leather wallet to a cherry dresser, but the simplicity and beauty of the worry cross was just fantastic.
