Alhamdulillah I concentrated on Deen for my girls along with dunya studies (Quran tafseer etc) but especially in south India karnataka etc ppl want very educated professionals as wives... They Specifically mention these in biodata without mentioning religious requirements.. Even the mothers of sons ask nowadays where is the girl working and what is her salary

Yes unfortunately parents of both boys and girls now a days looking for materialism instead of deen and this shows muslims are running after duniya instead of akhirat, this is the time of fitna going on , it is better for girls not to work where there is gender mixing because dajjalli fitna is out there, even though Allah didn't ask women to stay at home , they can go out but purposefully and they can work as well by taking care of haraam and halaal.
Sahi baat kahi aapne Faiz bhai! Lekin kuchh aise rishtedaar jinhone apne bachcho ko nahi padhaya qki wo education ko value nahi dete aur ladki k liye kehte hai chulhe ki lakdi chulhe par hi jalegi, aapki ye baat sunkar wo motivate na ho jaye. I know aapne deen and duniya dono ki knowledge haasil karne kaha lekin agar log jaan puchkar bas degree important nahi hai ye baat pakad le toh unhe kaise jawab de?
