Discover Stunning Art Textures: An Artist's Tutorial with a Surprising Twist! Mixed Media DIY

Unlock the Secrets of Unusual Texture with This Step-by-Step Tutorial! Paint with Fabric, Acrylics, Epoxy Resin, Newspaper, and Gold Spray Paint.
In this art tutorial video, I will present an original technique for creating textures using fabric and modeling paste with a two-step crackling effect. It's one of the products I recommend in this video: Pébéo's Crackling Effect. We will also explore the use of Powertex fabric, which I harden with a hardener from the same brand. You will learn how to create interesting textures. These techniques can be used to add depth and dimension to your artistic creations.
For the painting part, I will use several techniques: with brushes, sponges, and my favorite technique of spraying gold aerosol on fresh paint, using water, and then drying it with a newspaper, which creates stunning effects.
Finally, in the third and last part, we will work with epoxy resin mixed with acrylic paint, which I will apply to the canvas using a large syringe. I confirm that you can color the resin with a bit of acrylic paint; in this case, it will be white. You will discover how epoxy resin can be used to add shine and depth to your artwork and how to use different tools to create fascinating effects.

Bonjour Martine, Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire et votre intérêt pour les matériaux que j’utilise, notamment la résine époxy. Pour nettoyer le matériel après l’utilisation de la résine, et en particulier les seringues, il est crucial de le faire avant que la résine ne durcisse. Vous pouvez utiliser de l'alcool isopropylique pour nettoyer les outils. Il suffit de remplir la seringue avec de l'alcool, de la vider, puis de la rincer à l'eau chaude. Cela devrait enlever la plupart des résidus de résine. Pour les résidus plus tenaces, il peut être nécessaire de répéter l'opération. Cependant, selon l'usage, il est souvent plus pratique et économique d'utiliser les seringues une seule fois. Bien que le nettoyage avec de l'alcool isopropylique soit efficace, le coût en temps et en matériel peut parfois justifier l'emploi de seringues jetables, surtout si vous utilisez fréquemment la résine époxy dans vos projets.
