I had been aware of NFG for awhile, but not for this song... it was the music video for "Dressed to Kill", and I loved that song for a long time but never checked out any of their other work... I only kinda discovered this song nearly 2 decades later, and was like... this song is actually way better
So true. Leno even mentions Barry bonds being on the next show, which took it to the next level unexpectedly. Total ace move, only your most seasoned veterans would throw down.
@@theresasnakeinmyhiney994 To be fair. And I love these guys and this song. But it's not like the most difficult song ever to perform. THAT BEING SAID, you'd be amazed at how many kids / people can try something so simple like this song and totally butcher it. NFG, in general, and in this performance for sure, really bring that raw energy and attitude but without having the song fall apart or anything like that. It's raw, but it's also tight AF. I really enjoyed it. So yeah, hats off to these guys. Just wanted to add that little note.
Arf... i was a pop punk fan around 90's debut 00's cause ... i was born on 87' 😅 the Blink 182 era from their first album to Enema Of The States ! Back when bands had t-shirts of other bands. Notice the H²O shirt. Anyone remember when Drive thru records came out with a mix of all the punk bands the represented? It was called "you will never eat fast food again"
These dudes actually murder it at their live shows. When i was young i thought they were a rip off of sum 41 or blink but they all have a place and their own unique sound. LOVE these guys nowadays.
These guys are just pure energy. 2016 I saw them with Yellowcard & NFG did a killer set list & had the venue rocking. Definitely recommend seeing them when live shows come back.
Incredible how his voice hasnt change on 2020... 2021 yet... check some recent live footage ... he has really this same original voice. Band sound are Killing too
I meet this girl at Disneyland and she was the biggest fan of this band we ended up going to a show together but after that it was over idk I’m just not a fan of this band but much respect though
Still here for this in April of 2024
May now. And clearly lip synched. Fun nonetheless!! Singing doesn’t align with mic pullaways!!
@@whyooter1 This is not lip synched
back when Dickies and skate shoes were everything
What do you mean back when? They still are.
@@ohalistair Not like they used to be, youngster.
Dickies , Band shirt , shin high socks, and Vans or DCs lol.. cant get any early 2000s than that
I still wear Dickies and skate shoes, at 31 yrs old. I miss when punk was popular
@@seanshepard2401 yeah me to
The type of band that actually benefits from a live performance, sounding better than when they sound too "clean" in a studio
They are great live , a lot of fun
@Christopher Rubino Yep lol.. It's like giving blink182 credit for being punk because Tom didn't tune his guitar :D
This sounded like complete shit.
@@whitehh15 or know how to sing
Yep. I hate how clean and weak the early 00s punk generation sounded in Studio
You can tell there was a lot of NFG fans there with the crowd reaction as they’re being introduced
Or they live audience were told to cheer...
Best pop punk band to ever do it
Yes Blink 182
They were definitely great but I think Descendents might hold that title forever lol No Use For A Name is also pretty up there
Wow this sounds amazing live
Dope. Just dope.
Saw these in the UK at this time. Peak.

that OCP sounding hella good
good times man
Pop punk at its finest
Nostalgic
Cyrus looking like a young Dave Grohl. Jay also had great musical guests.
back when shit was awesome.
Sick
mosh it up baby
Did this dude direct pulp fiction?
No Fucks Given
back when you didnt need sh*t like autotune.....vocals were awesome
This is the most 2002 video I've ever seen
lol. I just posted almost the exact same thing.
I’m pretty sure the lead singer is wearing Jordan’s
So true. Leno even mentions Barry bonds being on the next show, which took it to the next level unexpectedly. Total ace move, only your most seasoned veterans would throw down.
LOL.... absolutely.
My friends over youuu...
I know blink was a bigger to me at the time but these guys are just solid af live. Didn’t appreciate that when I was younger.
Blink is a frigging joke live
I saw them open for Green Day during the American idiot tour so damn epic
Same with sum 41, a lot of those bands sounded so good live and got overlooked
@@justinwilder3514sum 41 was one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen

I'm actually surprised that this is how they sound live. I assumed that he couldn't match the vocals live , this is sick.
His voice alway sounds like he just sucked in some helium and started singing. Sounds awesome lol.
I love when he says mosh it up to a studio audience 🤣
👍 90's kids know about New Found Glory

You can actually hear their hardcore roots live. Kinda makes me hate never looking them when I was 17.
And you can see it in Chad wearing a H2O shirt. Haha.
That's why they were so awesome, it was the irony factor. Poppy vox and hooks with the Lifetime sound.
Never forget what they took from us...
This is how a live singer should sound. Perfect
High school life 🤙🏻🤘🏼
The album sticks and stone is one of those album that you listen to all the songs because all of them are really good.
I found that cd on the floor 19 years ago😂. Popped it on my brothers CD player and loved every song! 😂
Golden era of pop punk.
Back when bands had t-shirts of other bands. Notice the H²O shirt. Anyone remember when Drive thru records came out with a mix of all the punk bands the represented? It was called "you will never eat fast food again"
That’s called a compilation album and record labels have been doing it for decades before drive thru was even a thing
Literally so many bands do this. Like so many.
That jump the drummer does makes me soooooo pumped!! Especially when the lead singer says mosh it up!!¡
