Bonide Mite X is your best friend for spider mites! Made of cottonseed, garlic and clove oils. Mostly just smells like cloves for about 15 minutes, then no more nasties. Repeat as necessary, no harm to plants or pets, in fact pets don’t like the smell and that can be a huge bonus if you have some that get too close or like to munch. (Tastes not good to them either, but not harmful ). Also, you should consider a decent humidifier, it really helps keep spider mite down to a minimum, and your leaves won’t keep getting stuck trying to open.

I’ll definitely give the Mite X a try!!
I do have the Levoit top fill humidifier I try to run but I’m not finding a ton of success with it. Might need to invest in a different one!
      Thank you for the tips!!!🥰

I absolutely love heart leaf philodendron, I have the neon, Brasíli, and green. Mine aren’t as big as yours, but they’re growing. Yours are beautiful. They will be stunning in your wedding 😉

I'd look up really really close to those cuttings that u said got stuck.... Alot of the time that deformation comes out like that it's from a pest... Maybe thrips or mites... But the only time I've had a leaf get stuck was from under watering, but the fact u have your mother plant in pawn mix,it's usually always with water, so the deformation leaves I'm thinking could b from pests and not actually getting stuck...
And spider mites for me are the easiest to get rid of! Lol, I take a soft brissel tooth brush with Jack's dead bug brew or a mix or rubbing alcohol, little water and dawn dish soap, and I spray the plant off with high pressure water then I scrub each leave with a tooth brush or old make up brush, with my liquid killer, either of the two have worked great. And I haven't had spider mites return in almost a year. I find them easy to deal with... Thrips r the ones I struggled with for a while! Maybe u have thrips... And not mites? I wish u luck tho! Pests r the worst!! And love the collection! Never even heard of alot of these philos lol! I love ur videos, but I'd go nutty from all the animals hahaha! Thanks for sharing with us!! ❤️

I have treated them so many times! It is definitely spidermites as I see the webbing and the noticeable spotting that spidermites leave behind!!
I think I’m just at a losing battle with having so many plants! By the time I get them all treated it’s time to treat them all again! Lol
