The nuggets look great, the kale pecan salad in a bread bowl is so beautiful, and the cleanup with the shop vac is hilarious (and a good idea!). Look forward to trying the nugget recipe.
My chiropractor, even though my protein blood values are on target and textbook perfect, told me to make certain I have a total of 90 grams of protein per day. I told her that is over the recommended daily allowance. She told me that RDA is too low. I told her that I have, as a optimally healthy vegan, added up my protein and I am 'over proteined'. She told me to send her 4 days of me showing her that I get 90 grams of protein per day. So I did. Getting 90 grams on a whole foods plant based diet is very easy. After I sent it to her, I cancelled all future appointments with her. That is far more protein than I ever want to take in.
It's just too bad all healthcare workers don't have some Nutrition Education. And, then, too, it's hard to get them to understand that ALL food has protein.
