I learned to ride sand from Jimmy Lewis, on my old BMW 1150 GS Adventure. I never liked riding sand. I found it easier and less work on a. small bike, XR400 Honda, but still didn't care for it. My 990R is much better in sand than the GS was but a good bit of work with a travel load on wearing street tires, near their end. Yeah, stupid stuff. Now at 70, I avoid sand riding.
Don't underestimate how tough this is on a bigger bike, love seeing the 990's still doing this ❤
😉😉
the 990r seems be so easy in the sand bro
It’s fairly easy at speed. Becomes big and bulky if it gets tight and twisty
Excellent sand riding skills there😅
Thanks 😁
