I really love the deep thock but you can hear the metallic ting on the spacebar and backspace.
Thanks for 7:30, that's the problem I'm having, double-registering space bar inputs. Now I understand why.

The most surprise part is that the long keys like spacebar still able to jump back up with the weight
Funnily enough, the Gateron Quinns couldn't handle the spacebar which is why I needed a linear switch for it to bounce back easier haha
I have Lekker60s and so I'm kinda glad that I ordered the titanium black caps lol. I was so torn between the Ti and Emerald Green in matte but went with the Ti due to its pretty unique appearance.

Yo, whats that deskpad u got? I'm looking for the right one but the felt one i got now is falling to pieces, I think a fabric/cotton type thing like the one u got there would be just right.
I LOVE the main caps sound, but in all the sound tests of these, the space bar and other longer keys have that metallic ting to it. If I got a set I'd definitely look into adding car dampener into those caps.
I was thinking the same thing. I also listened to one sound test where all the keys sounded like a machine gun was going off hahaha not my thing personally but I'm sure some people who like carbon fiber would enjoy it. I'd love to hear a review with car dampener in the board. Hopefully Hipyo or something gets to review these. Would also still love to hear a sound comparison with ceramic keycaps.
It sounds like there is a lot of pinging sound? I think we try to reduce that noise from the keyboard case, but it’s added back by the keycaps..?
Yeah, even if the spacebar bounces back up, it's sluggish. You need something like 75g+ on the spacebar to have it feel snappy. I love the sound, but you need to +20-30% spring weight for a snappy experience similar to ABS/PBT caps.
For $210, I don't want no recycled metal. I want the freshly mined stuff. Who cares about reducing my environmental footprint
For real and also my problem is what type of metal they use too. I want to know if my titanium Keycaps are infused or just painted to look like it. Very misleading.
The shifts and definitely the space bar have a noticeable metallic ping
They sound great but I feel like with some of my acrylic or metallic keycaps. There is the occasional ping in some keys that can be kind of annoying.
have you tried dampening the modifier keys? if yes, what does that sound like?
Will they ever do this in SA?
Love the overall look, but it's unfortunate that the set's kitting is pretty limited. It would have been a buy for me.
I think the metallic ping is super off-putting! It will get so annoying longterm if they don't fix it (somehow).

Not a huge fan of the spacebar/mod ping. I'd have to look into ways to reduce that. Its kinda cool as a novelty thing, but that would get pretty annoying to me as a daily driver. Definitely a very cool thing to see some progress in terms of aluminum as a keycap material.
Love it but im still having second thoughts about durability of the engraving. How's your thoughts about that??

how does ur qk65 have so much flex?
Not using the included bottom silicone layer
Just case foam and plate foam
Sounds like it could get annoying after some time.
Just got a set of these in and I am not in lovce with them. They are fine, I guess, but they sound worse than ABS, don't work right with box switches, and some of the caps ping pretty badly.
Absolutely do not recommend these at all for the price.
