Fish is one of the most preferred sources of protein for man. Fish farming and processing as a business venture also provides jobs for several thousands of people that are engaged in fishing and depending on it for their livelihoods.
Fish is always in high demand and to meet the demand for fish in Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with other stakeholders have put several measures in place to enhance the fish value chain in the country.
