Didn't the "TOYS" album have a version of "THE GOOSE" with a killer Hazel solo that wasn't in the Parliament version? The Funkadelic version was an instrumental too if I recall correctly.

They’re the last of the og funkadelic era (‘68-‘71) and these are the first sessions for the America Eats album. Other tracks from these sessions are: •Loose Booty •Vampy Funky Bernie •Joyful Process •Magnififunk •Miss Lucifer’s Love

@@chrisedwards3214 yeah the original Parliament Red Hot Mama rules. There's a few different mixes of it, but my favorite one is hard to find. On the America Eats It's Young version of Call My Baby Pussycat' it seems to be Eddie and Gary on lead.

@@chrisedwards3214 yup, I'm very familiar with the Meadowbrook version. That entire live album is a gem, but it's obvious the tension between everyone. I've tripped acid to it many times, and it started becoming a bit uncomfortable to feel that tension lol.

It's sad that there's tons of great live soundboard recordings of bands from that era (like Sabbath, which has some excellent quality live recordings), and not much live of the og lineup of Funkadelic, other than Meadowbrook (which didn't have Tawl or Tiki), or the sugar shack recordings from the 74 transitional period
