Honestly if they kept the muzzle velocity quite slow but increased the damage to 100-102 instead it could be a quite interesting gun that would require a lot of practice. It would mean you could kill with two arm shots unlike the officer at the cost of slower bullet speed.
@@TheWasher18 at lower mmr more weapons become viable because you can just abuse it against low level/bad players, especially with weapons or loadouts that are forgiving

at range, i would tend to agree with the community that the new army is basically a pee shooter. At cqc, it has amazing follow up potential. I think it's generally a pretty balanced gun. I still run it on a lot of raids. It's most definitely not "unviable"
@@bb-sw6ur I tend to agree, it's damage drop off and handling are pretty abysmal for fights at range. Up close, however, I actually believe that it's one of the best secondaries in the game. If you compliment the new army with a mosin or slug shotgun, you can do some serious damage.

Slug improves the range of a shotgun but it remains a close range weapon, with the possibility to do something at medium range If you use a slug shotgun as your long range weapon you completely miss the possibility to oneshot with a headshot unless they are within 25m and you have like zero ammo
I feel like we should have the options for certain guns like this to where you can just drop the remaining ammunition to have a faster reload instead of manually replacing cartridges. It would make ammo waste a strategic maneuver for certain guns like this. A faster reload but you maybe drop two rounds or something like that.

I can't get a hitmarker on a person in the middle of my crosshairs with a shotgun and Hornet be making kills through walls and cracks with them like he's got aimbot. Oh the humanity.

In theory the dumdum ammo gives it some decent damage. I haven't used it with dumdum ammo though so I couldn't tell ya
I already two shot people with it being a below average player. Keep it as is id say.
Not a bad idea but torso shots are easy enough that I don’t mind it’s low damage. It’s an officer that has fmj and that’s good enough for me
