Altamont was the event that made society at large realize there was something far more primeval and sinister about the counterculture than peace, love and rock and roll.
Being at Altamont, I don't have any remembrance of Tina Turner singing, so that's how blown out either I was at this festival. Nothing new because I had seen her after her breakup with Ike, at the Mountain Aire concert which unlike Altamont, was not b free. ❤☮
Great Tina...i never have known ifJagger have copied her, or if Tina has has has used the Jagger way of moving...in my opinion i believe that Tina gas been the first...at the end of all Tina gas vegan her career in 1958 when she was 19 years old and Jagger was only 15 years old...the two artistica have a similar way of mobbing and dancing on the stage.
The concert was badly organised,in a very short time all was done! I think they didn’t expect 300,000 people,a lot of them on bad trips, not enough medical staff and the Hells Angels as security! The concert organisation underestimated the situation! For example the event location, the "Altamont Speedway"was authorized very late.
I doubt there will ever be a corner of the known universe in which the Stones' asses could ever be "kicked" by CSN&Y. I welcome any video evidence of such an occurrence, however.
Take your medicine, nobody comes close to kicking the stones ,,the stones were phenomenal coolest band on the planet from 1968 to late 1974 ,they were in a class of them self's, the sound system wasnt that great, in these concert ,check the stones with a quantity sound system in MSG ,Paris and Milan, in 1969 ,1970 ,phenomenon great concerts, actually this concert footage I dont think its from altamont.
Thank you very much for uploading!

Well. All was utopia

@@larryleitch3803 I looked it up. Unless she snuck in she wasn't there.
Through all this fiasco the gorgeous Mick Taylor just stood quietly by and played the hell out of his guitar. Now that’s a professional.
2:36 The one and only Tina Turner. What a beauty!
Melvin Belli=Gorgon the friendly angel from Star Trek 😂
Melvin Bellicose as Gorgonzola
New York Dolls guitarist Johnny Thunders can be seen briefly in the audience at 12:24.
2:09 the drug dealer hands their body guard some 👃 candy
At that time i was only one year old....
Dude at the beginning reminds me of Albert Grossman, Dylan's manager.
The Stones in their prime. A screwed up, disorganized free concert. Even though they meant well.
I forgot,,Tina was in this,,Melvin Belli,,what a sheyster,,,lol , Tina taught Jagger how to dance

Grateful airplane 🤣
Ehi is him? A lawjer? Maybe M. Belli? Not Sam Cutler, Stones official manager...

CSN&Y kicked the Stones' ass. They could've ended it after they played and I would've been happy.
