    Loved that you were able to do your mother’s dna and make comparison. It was interesting to see what you inherited from her.

      Thank you very much! Oh yes! It was super fascinating to see the comparisons & even after I finished filming, we both spent a good few hours going over the results, it was a good bonding activity for sure 😊!

    Great that you got your mom to do it as well, especially if you are working on your tree. Her DNA matches will help a lot. A couple of points to keep in mind 1. Remember these are estimates and the numbers, even countries can change. My son has Scottish, but neither his dad or me have Scottish in our results. 2. The DNA communities are an indicator of where you could have ancestors, based on where your DNA matches are. That being said, I did find Ancestry quite accurate.

    • @shahadbella
      @shahadbella  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Ooo that is quite fascinating, and I agree! It IS up to estimate, and all of it may not be completely of accuracy, however as a general scope of DNA results, Ancestry does well to appeal to curiosity and that is where the fun particularly lies! Teehee

    Hi Shahad, I was expecting to see a little Desi in you after seeing you pop up on my homepage and with the Punjabi/Pakistani, there apparently is. History shows that the Indo-Aryan peoples are from the same Indo-European branch of man, so it is not surprising. I would be curious to know your maternal haplogroup, though. Haplogroups, though, are given only with the 23andMe and LivingDNA tests, and at FamilyTreeDNA, you get the haplogroup and matches to others in their database, something you don't get at the autosomal test sites.
    I look forward to your follow-up video on the matches.

    I am Yemeni and I took the same test but I feel like the results are bit off since they don’t have a lot of Yemenis testing in their company . I got 86% Arabian ( they linked Iraq as a community ) , 11% Ethiopian/Eritrean , and 3% levant .

    Somehow reminds of Taliban destroying musical instruments in Afganistan. A lot of those instruments and music had a great ancient persian influence btw.
    Heartbreaking scenes tbh! The fact that someone in modern times can act like some medieval barbarians. How I hope Persia would become great again! There was a time when persian women used to express themselves so freely. Gosh! How times change. The most modern women of asia... fighting for basic rights.

    That is so beautiful and amazing❤️ I’m latina mixed and we share some similarities. Try some other places if you are interested. These tests only test .003 of our dna so unless it’s a total genome sequence you may have other beautiful things as well. I did ged match and q few others until I can do the entire genome and it was amazing to see. You can also compare it to another person like your momma too. Genetics is a crazy and random equation unique to each of us. Our genome isn’t even like our siblings and can be entirely different. Best of luck and blessing to you and yours!

      @@shahadbella thank you also! ❤️ and even more blessings to a humble and kind person as well! TH-cam helped me find all the free stuff and in between too! You can use your raw dna and not pay for the fluff! Genome link I believe really matched what I saw on my chromosome painting. They say at some point we all become cousins and the more I watch these videos I’m wondering how true that is! Oh as well look up inheritance because a grandparent can be half or more and a child get as long as four percent of that ethnicity. My husbands siblings have all gotten a range of 7%-32% of her 92 percent Portuguese. I saw a video of a Jewish family and their children only received 4 percent of their 70+ Jewish.

      you are wrong in so many ways, Arabs Ishmaelites ( children of Ishmaelites were the tribe of prophet Muhammad PBUH, Nabateans who created ancient petra, lihyan ... etc) they actually originated from Mesopotamia (Iraq), Abraham the father of the Arabs + Jews was born there. The Arabs were in the Levant and Iraq from ancient times they founded the ghassanids kingdom and the lakhmid kingdom...etc and also they ruled the Roman Empire several times in history, examples of Arab rulers: Philip the Arab, Caracalla, Julia Maesa ...etc. plz before you throw your stupid words on others without any evidence, you should read history first because we know our origins very well
