I was a Honolulu Police Officer assigned to Honolulu Airport in the late 1990s and saw Little Richard coming through security checkpoint 4 late one afternoon. Some people were following trying to get his attention. He waved bye to them saying he had to get to his flight. I walked with him to the gate and we talked like he knew me. VERY personable guy. I radioed ahead so the gate folks would let him board as soon as he got there. He looks the same when he travels as when he performs, make-up and all. 100% Nice guy!
.....so happy to hear that....he loved people and he loved Jesus....i knew some people that worked with him and they all were very....knowing of him...and strangely in awe of him....he is truly...THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL....
@@ClevelandLiveMusic ....he was on FIRE on this....and there was a distinct masculine side to him in this performance....it was almost....bizarre...love it...time stood still....
Good stuff. Hey man, do you have Bowie's induction ceremony at the Rock n roll Hall of Fame? The speeches by Madonna and David Byrne are on YT but the accompanying highlight film of Bowie's career is not and would be great to see. Similarly, the 2016 In Memoriam section from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
@@ClevelandLiveMusic I understand, man, but I'm a subscriber so you wouldn't have to keep it up long before I could watch it and save it. I don't know why the R N R HOF doesn't upload these things themselves.
I loved it but my favourite is his performance in 2007, the channel “TheArchitect” has uploaded it you could search up little Richard good holly miss Molly live 2007
I used to see Vicky Randle ( percussion) playing aound Oakland a lot. Bands with Pete E, & Sheila and she was in the local women's folk movement with Guitar. I avoided the latter. Harlem Tai Chi , heavy bag workout. th-cam.com/video/l1RH80H0MtE/w-d-xo.html Kevin Nealon is funny.
There will never be another Little Richard...❤❤
