Fun Facts: 1. The scene where Gromit is welding was actually done with a sparkler... which then caught fire and filming had to stop. 2. I'm sure I remember it being said that the first part of this film was done entirely on Nick Park's kitchen tabletop, before being moved to Arrdman studios.
The middle two Wallace and Gromit short films (The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave) are probably the two best features in the series- the Animation/Stop Motion very much improves as the series progresses!
Unless you actually think the moon is made of cheese and that you can actually build a spaceworthy rocket like that, I think not needing spacesuits on the moon should be the least of your issues with this.
@@Sventastic 4:53: Not only did Wensleydale cheese get named dropped, but since his debut, Wallace’s favorite brand of crackers is Jacob’s (if you couldn’t tell from the packaging).

Oh wow!!
Well, no wonder this film took 7 years to make. A few accidents had happened on the way.
@@ek9509 that, and Nick had to cut down the narrative from the Moon having a civilization to just a cooker that acts like a constable.
@@robbiewalker2831 Yo.
Wallace and Gromit: A Grand Day Out is nostalgic, but Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is still peak claymation to me.
My reaction will be online this Halloween!
This one looks more rough than the others cause it was pretty much done by one guy over 6 years.
Damn that's impressive!
I'm from the UK and I love Wallace and Gromit. They're national icons for us 🇬🇧

My reaction to The Wrong Trousers is already up! :)

Always thought the moon was made of cheese and Mars was made of chocolate, Caramel and that other thing they put in that!
@@Sventastic this movie made me believe the moon is made of cheese

10:38: You're two years too early. It was actually 1969.
This was the first piece of stop-motion I ever watched as a little kid along with the other shorts and the 2005 film
this cartoon basically saved the wensleydale cheese company from going broke
WE DID IT! WE MADE THE ACHIEVEMENT! HE SAID HE LIKED IT! The world now can finally live in peace!
I have never said something like that. There is no proof
Oh my God, I remember this from years ago, God time flies.
Sad thing is that due to the studio fire, only the rocket and the cooker oven remain from the film
It's ok because we can always remake them with either clay or 3d printing
I hope you get to watch another Wallace and gromit short movie called 'Wallace and Gromit a matter of loaf and death'
Online since today!
You should watch the other episodes; they are good too!
I definitely will! But busy with moving to a new home as of now, but I will definitely give those a try!
I don’t know if I could live without my ice closet.
13:02 I’m glad I have this on 📀 with high definition.
