Time to add some Drainage rails in front of the doors. Also bigger rubber strips for below work too. Keep up your amazing content.
You could also put some black tint on your OEM side mirrors, then stick the JDM ones on and the border won't be a shiny mirror anymore.
Tiana’s narration during the mirror attempt had me rollin! Great content as always. You wouldn’t be keeping it real if you never showed that not all things go as planned. And that my friend, is probably the #1 reasons your fan base continues to grow.

When I used to work in a garage, we had a floor squeegee when it rained hard and water would come in under the bay doors. Comes in handy for rain water creeping in and spills. Wondering if your contractor can come in and put channels in front of the bay doors to drain and prevent water from coming in. Also, Tiana's commentary behind the camera is 10/10!

Suma performance makes a good replacement for side mirrors that have a blue tint and are convex for a wider view. I have them on my civic and love them

There is a great Spoon set of blue wide angle rearview and sideview mirror that fits the US FK8, I have them installed on mine, look them up!

You could add some small pieces of the hook side of velcro to the bottom of the mats so they won't move and would be easily removed on track days, excellent vid and as always said to me in my military career "adapt and over come" usually works

You can try blacking out the edges on the side mirrors. So it’s not that noticeable.
Suma Performance mirrors for the sides and Spoon Sports for the inside rearview- that's the combo I went with and everything fit perfectly! Sorry to see the awesome new Seeker parts didn't gel with the Type R project lol

I think from jimmy Oakes videos it says jdm mirrors also are opposite directions when you look into them or something like that. So when he puts Gannador mirrors on his usdm car you can’t really see out of them.
It looks like Dustin has the same flooding problem Evan has in his shop when it rains. You guys need to put sand bags in front of the bay doors to keep the rain water out.

for the sideview mirrors. Why not make the OG mirrors on the edges that are showing black and that way you wont notice the OG mirror. (a small piece of vinyl should sort it out.

If the mirror sits on flat and smaller than the US version, I would cover it with vinyl what ever gap was showing in black color.

I own a jdm crv, and i have the same issues with ordering parts, everything is just slightly different. You could wrap the regular mirrors black on the regular mirror surface, and install the seeker blue tinted mirror covers over top to make it look clean

yup,really need to look at the part number instead of the item description of what it's for. same thing happened to me before with the spoon rearview mirror. same with seeker, it's a stick-on type and it did not fit and had to order a different one again. 😅

If you haven’t all ready figured it out I believe I see your problem most time on shop door the concrete leading up to where it closes is at a angle yours is smooth and flat with would cause the water to puddle up and run under your door if it was sloped it would run away from your door.

I made the same mistake with my Spoon rear view mirrors. The JDM rear view mirror is wider than the US mirror. However, the Spoon side mirrors fit.
