I have two managed server which work ls according to request send by loadbalancer , but I want to change loadbalancer hostname so how do I do this change?
Ashish, If it is production first do a trail on your non-production environment for testing this activity. You might be providing the WebLogic Managed server's listener details in the load balancer to send traffic. Where if you change the hostname it will be impacted for the customers who will hit the application if there is DNS service mapped to you Load balancer. check those impacts in trails.
I have a problem: My app is running in weblogic 12c. I have property file inside a path and application works fine normally. When I do start and stop the application in Deployments page after making some configuration changes in property file, changes usually get reflected properly when I use in my data center oracle cluster. But, we migrated to AWS weblogic server which is provisioned thru their aws marketplace. Here, after making config change in property file and make a application restart from Deployments page, changes are not working. Could you please guide if you are getting any possible solution for this issue?
@@PavanBSDevarakonda no error msg. When I start and stop the application from deployments page, the changes I made in property file say flag.value=false is not getting reflected. It still fetches true.
Nice artical...sir useful information
