We did a 30-ish loop around the the Wild Area last Fall. Our second night’s camp was at the “natural” aqueduct and as we were setting up a local who had a cabin nearby came walking through.Like Becky I jokingly asked if he had beer down there, we chatted for a bit and he left. Not a 1/2 hour later he came walking back with a backpack full of beer and wine! Frank was definitely a trail angel for sure!
Water was pretty easy to find, except there was a bit of time on day 3 where there was some distance between water sources. Can’t say what it might be like in August, especially if there’s a drought like last summer. Have fun and watch out for rattlesnakes!
Great trip and great video! I did this trail in 2019 and again about a month or so after you did it in 2021. One of my favorite trails.
Thanks!

Awesome!
Nice channel man. You weren't kidding, that porcupine wanted everything to do with you guys!
Trail looks like it has a lot to offer, nice view and wildlife. Watch out for the rattle snakes. What did you name your pet porcupine, LOL. Thanks
Porky wanted to go for a walk, apparently!
I'm going in August - any bad spots for finding water?
