Mine has required a little more than normal maintenance, last year I did the head gasket, pretty straight forward, You want to see it run and move before buying, Things to look for, (1)check the block for freeze damage these things are known to have been filled with water and kept outdoors in the winter, (2) clutch, make sure the clutch engages within a few inches of the pedal moving not at the top end of the travel(worn), or try pulling a load with the machine, (3) raise the lift with a load and disengage the PTO, if the load drops fast the lift cylinder needs seals, (4) Tire condition, rear tire rubber is getting harder to find and can be pricey. All that being said they are simple to work on and lots of parts still being produced.
